SCAN Medical, a manufacturer of Manual Transfer Devices, has recently introduced a new Manual Transfer Gurney that has unique potential in many Emergency Rescue and Evacuation situations. 

The SafetySure Transfer Gurney is a lightweight, bendable and flexible transfer device that is particularly designed to be used in narrow and hard to reach areas (private home settings for instance), where conventional standard equipment cannot be used because of limited space.  The device is equipped with 10 grab handles around the 60" X 34" pad edge in order to accommodate many caregivers, to better distribute the weight of the person on the Gurney, and to prevent work injury among paramedics/caregivers. 

The SafetySure Transfer Gurney has been tested for lifts in excess of 1500 lbs.
